Week 9 — June 20–26, 2026

Week 9 captured the transition into the Triple Summit road trip with incomplete coverage. Five of seven nights were recorded. Overall Score fell to 61.0, HRV to 32.4 ms, resting heart rate rose to 64.2 bpm, Sleep Stress rose to 21.2, and SpO2 averaged 94.0%. A zero-REM night preceded a strong rebound the following night. Sleepgenic classifies Week 9 as transition strain under incomplete observation — a directional signal, not a complete weekly verdict.

Week 9 is the first travel-transition week in the Sleepgenic series and the first week where missingness materially limits interpretation. Five of seven nights were recorded; June 23 and June 24 are unobserved because the Garmin was not worn. Those nights are not zeros and are not reconstructed.

Across the five observed nights, Overall Score averaged 61.0, below the 67.5 baseline. Total sleep averaged 6.10 hours, HRV fell to 32.4 ms, resting heart rate rose to 64.2 bpm, Sleep Stress rose to 21.2, and SpO2 averaged 94.0%. REM averaged 0.50 hours. The direction is weaker across both score and physiology layers.

The week was not uniformly poor. June 20 recorded an Overall Score of 71, Recovery Score of 100, HRV of 43 ms, and Sleep Stress of 10.1. June 26 rebounded to an Overall Score of 79 with 1.40 hours of REM. Between them, June 25 produced an Overall Score of 38, no detected REM, resting heart rate of 69 bpm, Sleep Stress of 28.9, and SpO2 of 93%.

The context layer matters. The Triple Summit road trip began June 21, introducing long driving periods, changing hotels, changing elevation, altered timing, and pre-summit acclimation. The dataset supports an association between that transition and weaker sleep signals; it does not isolate which travel variable caused the change.

Sleepgenic classifies Week 9 as transition strain under incomplete observation. The signal is directionally meaningful because score, autonomic, architecture, and oxygen measures weakened together. Confidence is reduced because only five nights were observed. Coverage is part of the result, not a footnote.
