The apparent regression was heavily influenced by June 15, when only 3.18 hours of sleep produced an Overall Score of 39 and Duration Score of 25. That night matters, but it should not be allowed to define the entire week.
The physiology layer was stronger than the score layer. Recovery Score averaged 85.9, the highest weekly level in the active series. HRV rose to 40.9 ms, resting heart rate improved to 59.4 bpm, and Sleep Stress fell to 14.1. REM averaged 0.87 hours across six available REM observations, above the 0.81-hour baseline. Deep sleep averaged 1.22 hours and total sleep 6.44 hours.
This is not the shape of system-wide deterioration. It is a week in which one sharply shortened night lowered the composite result while autonomic and recovery signals remained favorable. The layers disagreed: the score layer normalized, the physiology layer stayed strong, and the context layer contains a discrete duration disruption rather than uniform pressure.
Sleepgenic classifies Week 8 as score volatility with physiological strength. The Week 7 peak did not become a permanent score floor, but the strain cycle did not reopen. The important carry-forward signal is that recovery capacity remained intact beneath a more volatile score profile.
Coverage was complete for headline metrics: seven of seven nights were recorded. REM was unavailable for one night, so the REM mean uses six available observations rather than treating the missing stage value as zero.
